Constellations was my very first series in canvas back in 2011, 2012. At the time I was working as a researcher in Phonetics (yeah, my degree is in Linguistics) and I realized at the time that what I really wanted to do with my life was paint.
I remember buying a very limited amount of small acrylic tubes, two or three brushes and a canvas, and thinking that I had spent a fortune!
I never could have imagined at the time that I would be here today. And for that, I am truly grateful.
I recently decided to create a new Constellations series. This time on paper.
The night sky confirms how small and insignificant we are, and, in contrast, that even the small things we find in nature are of an enourmous significance. Everything in the Universe vibrates at one frequency or another. And that includes us.
